Why we started

Search for almost any new movie in India and the first results are often piracy sites. Many people click without knowing that these sites are illegal, that they are a leading source of malware, or that legal options exist at little or no cost. We built Stream Safe India to sit in that gap. Instead of scolding anyone, we explain the real risks in plain language and point to the licensed platforms that carry the same films safely.

Our audience is anyone who just wants to watch a film without getting scammed or breaking the law. That includes students on a tight budget, families sharing one phone, and viewers in smaller towns where the choice often feels like piracy or nothing. It is not, and we spend our time showing why.

How we stay independent

We are not owned by any streaming service, and no platform pays us to rank it higher.
